Las Vegas Chess School (“we,” “us”) runs chess classes and private lessons in Las Vegas, Nevada. This policy explains what information we collect through lvchess.school, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you submit the contact form on our site, we collect the parent or guardian’s name, the child’s name and age, your phone number and email address, and the signup date. These details are required to arrange your trial. A message and the separate school-news opt-in are optional. We also record your scheduled class, seat confirmation, cancellation, rescheduling, and attendance or enrollment status.
The form is intended for parents and guardians, not for children. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child, and the site is not directed at children for the purpose of collecting their information. Please do not submit information about a child unless you are their parent or legal guardian. A child’s first name and age are used only to place them in the right class and to prepare for the call with you — we do not use them for advertising, we do not share them with our advertising or analytics partners, and a parent or guardian can email us at any time to see or delete them.
By submitting the form you agree that we may contact you at the phone number or email address you provide — by call, text message, or email — to respond to your inquiry and to discuss classes, scheduling, and enrollment. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by replying STOP to a text, by asking us on the phone, or by emailing matikozyan@gmail.com, and we will honor it.
We use the information to answer you, recommend a program, arrange your class, and follow up about your request and enrollment.
Submitting a trial request means you may receive more than one email from us. These include your request receipt, class date, time and location, a request to confirm your seat, registration updates, and follow-ups about your inquiry. Once you confirm your seat, we schedule reminders for 3 days, 24 hours and 3 hours before class, when there is enough time before your scheduled class. Cancelling the registration stops its reminders.
School news and promotional emails are optional. Only if you select the separate school-news checkbox may we email you new monthly trial dates, camps, sibling promotions, discounts and registration announcements. Leaving that box unchecked does not affect your trial request. We record your choice, the wording you agreed to, and when you agreed.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to remove you by emailing matikozyan@gmail.com. Opting out of marketing does not cancel your class or its scheduling emails; use Cancel Trial in your class email to cancel the registration. Enrolled parents are removed from prospect campaigns. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information for anyone else’s marketing.
Like most websites, ours records basic technical and usage data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring site, and how you moved through the page. We use it to understand which parts of the site are useful and whether our advertising is working.
Our advertising and analytics partners set cookies or similar identifiers for this purpose, including Google (Google Ads conversion measurement), Meta / Facebook (advertising measurement), and PostHog (product analytics). You can limit this through your browser’s cookie settings, and through Google Ads settings and your Facebook ad preferences.
We share information only with the service providers who help us run the school, and only so they can perform that service for us:
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our students, families, or staff.
We keep inquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain enrollment records, and we delete them when they are no longer needed. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.
Inquiries are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored with access limited to the coach and staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Nevada law (NRS 603A.340) lets Nevada consumers tell a website operator not to sell the personal information it has collected about them. We do not sell personal information and we have no plans to. If you would like to submit a verified opt-out request anyway, email it to matikozyan@gmail.com, which is our designated request address, and we will confirm it back to you.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
